About Irwin Loring Comedian
Irwin finds life funny. On stage he will tell the stories of his children, parents, and their behaviors, His take on being divorced, or the twists of being in a  relationship with a Vegan, animal rights activist.  He does all this with a smile, and his apparent love of all of them.  He takes simple life moments and experiences, such as being at a local "All you care to eat" buffet, or the movie "The Wizard of Oz", and makes you laugh as if you were there at that moment.  His comedy can range from Corporate Clean to "R" rated, depending on the request.

In the short time he has been performing on stage he has had many great moments and received many laughs.  He was a finalist in the 2007 “Comic of the Year� competition for Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia. He was the winner of best new talent comic at the Reading Comedy Outlet 2008, and a finalist in the Big Break Comedy Competition in 2009. He currently teaches comedy classes at a local college for aspiring comics, focusing on the business of comedy and writing. He founded Kaleidoscope Comedy which produces comedy shows in MD, DC and VA. Kaleidoscope Comedy is very committed to using comedy as a means of fundraising for many charities. Such as the “Avon Walk for Breast Cancer�, Warrior Aviation, CSAAC, The Miracle League, and local Kiwanis.

Irwin has performed in venues ranging from New York staples such as the Laugh Factory, Comix, Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club and Gotham Comedy Club, to the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, to more regional clubs such as the The Comedy Zone, Reading Comedy Outlet, Wisecrackers, Cozzy’s Comedy Club, Liberty Laughs VA, and the Baltimore Comedy Factory. He also participated in the Guinness Book of World Records Longest Consecutive Comedy Show at Magooby’s Joke House in 2011. He has also co-produced a comedy variety show for a local public television station in Montgomery County MD.

He has worked with many great comics currently touring today such as Michael Winslow, Jimmy "JJ" Walker, Kelly Terranova, Yannis Pappas, Marc Unger, Chris Monty and others. He has headlined shows in Pennsylvania, Baltimore and Washington DC. He has been a featured comedian for “Comcast on Demand�, Web Comedy Club, and Local Point TV.
